Aritzia Six-Month Plan
For a Fashion Marketing Class, I created a full presentation in collaboration with Madeline Shank, Grace Weeks, and Soliana Suyas, which is attached below. The presentation was developed over a full 10-week quarter, hence the division into three parts of the presentation. It contains Artizia’s history, the size and scope of the brand, current trends in the industry, ending with the six-month buying plan for Artizia as a whole and also single stores in Boston, MA, and Austin, TX.
I focused on the creation of a six-month buying plan for Aritzia activewear. Through this project, I discovered how much I enjoy numbers and working with data and analytics. I want to further this interest by learning how it applies to the beauty industry.
I found the numbers used for this project through Aritzia’s annual report and the number of products on their website. I had to calculate the amount of activewear the brand sells and find how much it is on sale. Then, I had to calculate what amount of stock would be needed per style and size for the following quarter based on the previous sales. I selected the six-month plan to showcase below, with the entirety of the presentation after that as it is 60 pages with extensive research.
